Okti Qadriani – Somatic Yoga Instructor

E-RYT 500 (Yoga Alliance)

Hello and Welcome! I’m Okti, your guide to mindful movement and soulful connection.

With over a decade of experience, I am a passionate and dedicated yoga teacher, guiding my students through transformative practices that focus on mobility, stability, and restorative techniques. As a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500), I have had the privilege to train in a wide variety of yoga styles, including Somatic Yoga (both somatic and clinical), Rehab Yoga, Yin Yoga, Chikitsa (Therapeutic) Yoga, Laughter Yoga, Touch for Health, Thai Yoga Stretch/Massage, and Qigong. This diverse training allows me to offer a holistic approach to teaching that is personalized, safe, and deeply effective for every student.

My Approach to Teaching:

In my classes, I blend mindful movement with intentional breathing techniques, creating an environment where students can reconnect with their bodies, quiet their minds, and cultivate self-awareness. I believe that yoga is a path to healing, transformation, and personal growth, and I strive to foster a sense of self-love, inner peace, and holistic well-being in all my students.

I offer a safe and supportive space for students of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities, encouraging them to find their healthiest, happiest selves. Through thoughtful sequencing and modifications, I ensure that each student feels empowered to listen to their body and progress at their own pace, whether they are new to yoga or have been practicing for years.

What I Offer in My Classes:

  • Somatic and Clinical Yoga: These practices focus on body awareness and release of physical tension, promoting healing by integrating mindful movement and breath to bring more comfort and ease to the body. This style is particularly beneficial for anyone dealing with chronic pain, injury recovery, or those simply looking to reconnect with their body’s natural rhythm.

  • Restorative and Therapeutic Yoga: A gentle practice designed to relax the nervous system and promote deep healing. Through slow, supported poses, guided breath work, and meditative practices, this class nurtures both the body and mind, helping you unwind from the stresses of daily life.

  • Yin Yoga: A deeply meditative style of yoga that targets the connective tissues and fascia of the body. By holding poses for longer periods of time, Yin Yoga encourages deep relaxation and flexibility, fostering a sense of stillness and inner peace.

  • Rehab Yoga and Chikitsa Yoga: These therapeutic styles focus on healing and rehabilitation, using yoga as a tool to restore balance to the body and mind. Whether recovering from injury or seeking to improve overall mobility, these practices offer a supportive framework for recovery and growth.

  • Laughter Yoga: Combining the physical benefits of laughter with breathing exercises, this class creates a joyful and uplifting experience. It helps to reduce stress, improve mood, and promote overall well-being, while fostering a sense of connection and community among participants.

  • Touch for Health & Thai Yoga Stretch/Massage: These modalities integrate physical touch and stretching to promote balance, release tension, and increase energy flow throughout the body. Thai Yoga Stretching offers a beautiful combination of yoga and massage techniques, allowing for a deeply relaxing and rejuvenating experience.

  • Qigong: An ancient Chinese practice that combines breath, movement, and meditation to cultivate and balance the body’s energy (Qi). Qigong helps to restore harmony within the body, improve flexibility, and enhance overall vitality.

Why Choose My Classes?

My teaching is rooted in compassion, patience, and a deep understanding of the body’s natural mechanics. I approach each class with the intention of helping my students feel empowered and connected to their bodies and minds. Whether you’re seeking to increase strength and mobility, reduce stress, or find emotional balance, my classes offer a holistic approach to achieving your goals.

I believe that yoga is for everyone, and it is my mission to meet you where you are on your journey—providing a safe space for exploration, healing, and personal growth.
